The boss himself at the wheel

The CEO of the Irish manufacturer wouldn't be Martin McVicar if he hadn't personally taken the driver's seat at LogiMAT to present the new Combi-Cube. A vibrant green, perfectly matching the island's signature color, adorns the vehicle, and the optional 360° steering system ensures exceptional maneuverability.

As a long-time exhibitor in Stuttgart, Combilift is also using this year's industry platform to present the first of a series of new devices developed as part of the company's 25th anniversary celebrations. The new Combi-Cube boasts a number of technical and design features that not only improve handling but also enhance ergonomics.

The driver's seat, centrally located in the cab, offers ample space. The telescopic steering column is adjustable, and the Grammer MSG65 seat, combined with hydraulic cab mounts, ensures comfort. An adjustable armrest, equipped with a multifunction joystick and a color LCD touchscreen, is mounted on the seat suspension.

Other special features include the large rear wheel and rubber tires on all three wheels. This means that, unlike some other brands of electric multi-directional forklifts, this model is not limited to perfectly flat floors and is well-suited for both indoor and outdoor use, so even moderately uneven terrain poses no obstacle to reliable operation. For faster battery changes during intensive work shifts, two new, easily replaceable roll-out batteries are available.

Martin McVicar, CEO and co-founder of Combilift, said: “Our engineers and our research and development department have been working tirelessly to prepare for a year full of new products,” McVicar said. “The Combi-Cube is proof of our commitment to offering the best and most innovative handling solutions.”
