From eCMR to ML Toolbox, numerous open-source components from the Silicon Economy pool are now ready for (industrial) use. Researchers from the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) will present them in detail at two community events.

The productive development of the digital consignment note within the framework of "Silicon Economy" research is complete, and logistics providers Dachser and Rhenus have provided proof of concept: The eCMR is now ready for use. The "Electronic Transport Information" event on Wednesday, April 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., is aimed at representatives of companies that want to implement the digital consignment note (eCMR).

At the second "Computer Vision" event on Thursday, April 25, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, developers from research and industry can learn about the use of existing components in various projects. As part of the "Computer Vision" community event, researchers will present insights from the most important current projects and user examples. These include Yard Lens on Edge, volumetric measurement, and the ML Toolbox.

Furthermore, participants have the opportunity to test individual components hands-on. They can quickly train their own CV model using the Silicon Economy's "Guided Training Service," "let the air out of a truck" by measuring individual packages and containers from the inside, and test how much data can be obtained for just two euros using the "low-cost 3D sensor"..

Both events will take place at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML.
