
Switzerland earns every second franc abroad, and in the industrial sector, this figure rises to 80 percent, largely in the tech industry and international trade. This makes dialogue on intellectual property all the more important. The next round of talks is planned for spring 2025 in China.
With regard to this working group meeting, the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IGE) welcomes concerns and problem cases on the subject of Intellectual Property (IP).
The aim of Switzerland's bilateral IP dialogue with China is to discuss regulatory, administrative and strategic IP issues at the intergovernmental level.

Specific concerns and problems of Swiss companies operating in China can contribute to addressing concrete issues in the Chinese IP protection system and law enforcement on this occasion and – where possible – finding solutions.
