As of September 1st, Serge Frech will be the newly elected director of ASFL SVBL. Christian Pauli (photo), who is also managing director of the Swiss Association for Temperature-Controlled Logistics, has taken over the management of the Romandie region at the training association "Swiss Logistics by ASFL SVBL".

With over 40 years of professional experience in logistics – including many years in management positions at well-known companies both in Switzerland and abroad – he is looking forward to contributing his knowledge and network to the further development of logistics education in Western Switzerland, said Pauli.
At the beginning of next month, Serge Frech will take up his position as Director of Swiss Logistics by ASFL SVBL in Zofingen. He will assume overall responsibility for the professional association for the logistics sector
Until December 31, 2024, Serge Frech was Managing Director of ICT Vocational Training Switzerland. He led the national association for the rapidly growing field of information and communication technology and provided important impetus for digitalization in vocational training. From 2014 to 2018, Serge Frech was Head of the Education Department and a member of the Executive Board at suissetec, the Swiss-Liechtenstein Association of Building Technology Professionals.

Prior to that, he spent many years as head of training for the military intelligence service in the Swiss Army. Alongside his main duties, he was a guest lecturer at the Institute of Applied Psychology at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).
Serge Frech holds a Master's degree in Educational Management and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Zurich. He is married and has three children.
