May 1, 2024

DHL New Bosses

DHL's contract logistics division is undergoing a complete overhaul: Patrick Kelleher will become CEO in North America, Markus Voss will become Chief Development Officer, Sally Miller will become the new Chief Information Officer, and Mauricio Barros will become the new Global Chief Operations Officer.

With the partial restructuring and expansion of its global management team, DHL Supply Chain aims to position itself for the future. "The new board members, with their diverse perspectives and leadership experience, will support us in optimizing our operations, opening up new markets, implementing innovative digitalization solutions, and developing future-proof strategies for our continued success," says Oscar de Bok, CEO of DHL Supply Chain.

Patrick Kelleher will assume the role of CEO of DHL Supply Chain in North America on July 1, 2024. Kelleher, currently Global Chief Development Officer, will continue to report directly to Oscar de Bok. He has been with the DHL Group since 1992 and brings a wealth of experience from various management positions. As Global Chief Development Officer, Kelleher was responsible for the successful development, profitable changes, and rapid growth of the division.

Kelleher succeeds Scott Sureddin, who will retire on December 31 after more than 20 years with DHL. Sureddin leaves behind significant contributions to the division's culture and performance, not only within North America. Under his leadership, the North American business doubled, providing a clear roadmap for the future.

Markus Voss will become Chief Development Officer of DHL Supply Chain on July 1, succeeding Patrick Kelleher. He currently serves as Global Chief Information Officer and Chief Operations Officer. Voss has proven to be a driving force in the standardization and implementation of new technologies, automation solutions, and robotics. In his new role as Chief Development Officer, Voss will additionally oversee the Service Logistics, Solutions Design, and all strategic growth products teams. Voss will remain a member of the DHL Supply Chain Global Executive Board.

Her expanded role will encompass her existing responsibilities as Digital Transformation Officer. Miller, who joined the company in 2005, has held various senior management positions during her tenure and will be a member of the division's Global Executive Board.

Furthermore, Mauricio Barros, currently Senior Vice President of Global Operations for DHL Supply Chain, will assume the role of Global Chief Operations Officer on July 1st, reporting to Oscar de Bok.
