Imagine sitting in the dry at a mobile control station during an outdoor operation, directing the ongoing operation of the equipment in real time via camera and joystick? HBC Radiomatic recently introduced a mobile seat with built-in remote control for the operator.
In various operational scenarios, operation via a fixed control station can be a useful and safe complement to operation with a portable radio remote control – for example, during long work periods or in adverse weather conditions. The "HBC remote operator seat" interestingly combines the advantages of mobile and fixed control concepts.

The seat can be combined with a portable, mobile radio transmitter. The operator can quickly and easily switch between the seat and the mobile transmitter, thus flexibly selecting the optimal control concept for each work application.
The control commands are transmitted wirelessly from the HBC remote operator seat to the HBC radio receiver on the machine. Using the proven HBC control concept, the operator can quickly and easily switch between the seat and the portable transmitter via a switch or button. The proven HBC safety concept is always integrated. The HBC remote operator seat and the portable radio transmitter use identical controls and labels.
The response behavior of the HBC remote operator seat and the portable radio transmitter on the machine is completely identical, enabling particularly intuitive operation. The operator can flexibly select the appropriate control concept depending on the requirements and potential hazards in the work environment.

In radio-technically demanding environments and situations, the radio technologies TC7 (narrowband), TC242 (2.4 GHz) and TC190 (DECT) together with an optional focus E antenna ensure an optimal connection.
The concept can be integrated into a wide variety of seat types. A large selection of controls and labels is available for completely individual configuration.
During demanding driving maneuvers, the operator can position himself freely with the portable radio transmitter, ensuring an optimal view of the work situation and thus controlling the machine safely and precisely at all times.
