 Swiss Post Cargo

As of March 1st, Swiss Post is consolidating its transport and logistics services in the freight logistics sector under the new brand name "Swiss Post Cargo". As a first step, from March 2025, the group company PostLogistics, as well as Bächle Logistics and Logistik Center Villingen (LCV) in southern Germany, will operate uniformly under the "Swiss Post Cargo" name.

The visual brand identity will be implemented over the next two to three years. This will primarily happen first in areas where it is easily possible and particularly visible, or where a change is necessary anyway – this will happen more quickly on digital channels than in the physical world. Therefore, in the coming years, both the old and the new brand identity will be primarily visible on vehicles and buildings.

During a transitional phase, the other group companies within the Swiss Post freight logistics division will adopt the tagline "Part of Swiss Post Cargo" in their branding – these include, among others, the Portmann Group in France, Iemoli Trasporti in Italy, and in Germany, Nolden Logistics, OSA Logistik, and OSA Spedition. By the end of 2027, all group freight logistics companies are expected to gradually adopt the "Swiss Post Cargo" branding under the Swiss Post name, while the management teams of the subsidiaries will remain unchanged.

“For our customers, well-functioning, cross-border flows of goods and supply chains are essential. We want to support them in their business activities in the best possible way and grow together with them. That's why we are standardizing our presence and consolidating our offerings in our core markets of Switzerland and the major neighboring economic regions of Germany, Italy, and France,” said Roland Heizmann, Head of Freight Logistics at Swiss Post. He added that freight logistics is a core business for Swiss Post and an attractive growth market in the medium to long term. In the area of logistics services, Swiss Post is expanding its leading position as a provider of logistics services in Switzerland.

Attractive growth market

The focus in the logistics services market is therefore on growth in the freight logistics market, among other things, to compensate for the decline in the letter market and strengthen the overall market position. Freight logistics thus makes a significant contribution to securing supply chains and connects companies in industry and trade to national and international flows of goods. With Swiss Post Cargo, a new force is emerging in the transport and logistics sector, characterized in particular by end-to-end services, greater efficiency through digitalization, and consistently transparent communication with customers.
