After Stefan Luginbühl served as interim head of Swiss Post Cargo, Stefano Arganese will take over the position on June 1st. Arganese most recently served as Chief Transformation Officer at DHL Freight.

Arganese worked for almost 30 years in various roles within the DHL Group. After studying civil engineering with a focus on logistics and earning a Master's degree in Business Administration, he assumed responsibility in sales, operations, and business controlling. For over 15 years, he led an international region encompassing more than 20 countries, including Switzerland, as CEO.

Stefano Arganese holds dual Italian-Swiss citizenship, lives in the Canton of Zurich, is married, and has two daughters.
Swiss Post honored Stefano Luginbühl for his interim leadership of Swiss Post Cargo. Together with the Swiss Post Cargo management team, he ensured continuity in leadership over the past months and guided the organization through the transition phase. Luginbühl will return to his previous role in the logistics services division of Swiss Post on July 1, 2026.
