The supplier of innovative conveyor systems Avancon announces an order from a renowned pharmaceutical wholesaler from South Korea for a second logistics center with approximately 1800 m of Avancon ZPC roller conveyors, 70 roller curves and 100 OTU tables (Omni-Directional Transfer Units).
“The customer appreciates the modern and elegant design of the Avancon concept,” says avant-gardist and Avancon founder Dieter Specht. The system is manufactured by a licensing partner (Asetec/Craftid). “It is a great honor for us, as we see another success story with a satisfied customer,” says Hyunmin Park, Director of Avancon Asia.

The large, self-contained system of a typical logistics and distribution center is among the most significant of its kind in South Korea, and even larger than the one implemented there two years ago. Its ease of configuration and installation, it is said, makes it both efficient and safe for personnel. The use of satin-anodized aluminum contributes to cleanliness and hygiene. The standardized design is intended to significantly improve the accuracy and precision of manual tasks, such as order picking.
