There's a grinding noise in the gears

Interroll is experiencing another personnel reshuffle. Ayhan Demirel, who only became Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the globally active conveyor technology provider from Ticino at the end of 2024, has left the company, and Johannes Van Der Beek has resigned as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Ulrich Engenhardt will take his place.

Interroll CEO Ingo Steinkrüger was replaced by Markus Asch in March 2025, who  will now also assume Demirel's role on an interim basis until a permanent successor is found. Johannes Van Der Beek has stepped down as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to pursue new opportunities in engineering and research & development.

Interroll welcomes Ulrich Engenhardt, who joined the company as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in January 2026.  He brings extensive experience in leading product and platform management teams, implementing hardware and software platforms, building regional expertise , and managing innovation programs. From 2008 to 2023, he held various  management positions at Kärcher, most recently for seven years as Executive Vice President Professional Products.

Prior to joining Interroll, Engenhardt was Chief Business Unit Officer at the switchgear  and IT system provider Rittal in Herborn from 2023 to 2025.
