Not a moon program, but a strategic investment: Interroll is acquiring the Royal Apollo Group, a Dutch provider of vertical material handling solutions, including spiral conveyor systems. The group has three production sites and a global service network.

Apollo systems, it is said, are supported throughout their entire lifecycle, from installation and commissioning to maintenance, modernization, and spare parts supply. "With this acquisition, we are complementing Interroll's conveyor technology portfolio with the vertical technology of the Royal Apollo Group. This closes a gap in our offering and simultaneously strengthens our business with lifecycle services and spare parts"says Markus Asch, CEO of Interroll. "The business areas complement each other perfectly".
“We will now focus on integration to make this product range accessible to both our existing customers and system integrators worldwide, as well as to new customers – whom we can now reach thanks to this step.” The purchase price was not disclosed.
