Founded in Jingjiang in 2003 – now 20 years old and part of the Kion Group: Baoli's production facilities remain near Shanghai, as well as at the new plant in Jinan, which opened at the end of 2021 and also includes its own research and development center. A reason to celebrate, according to CEO Christian Bischof.
Joining KION is celebrated as a significant milestone in its rapid development. In 2009, the joint venture KION Baoli Forklift Co., Ltd. was founded, making Baoli part of the KION Group. Just one year later, the company was fully integrated into KION. From then on, Baoli was able to continuously expand its product portfolio and extend its international presence far beyond Asia: In 2018, Baoli EMEA SpA was established, headquartered in Milan, Italy.
Baoli offers its customers a complete range of reliable material handling equipment, including 3- and 4-wheel electric forklifts with lifting capacities from 1.5 to 3.5 tons, diesel forklifts with lifting capacities from 1.5 to 10 tons, and numerous warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and high-lift pallet trucks. New model series are also expected to be launched in the coming months – thanks in part to the new production facility in Jinan.

“Baoli aims to become one of the leading providers in the EMEA region in the entry-level forklift truck segment. We want to achieve the ‘top of the mind’ position here,” says Christian Bischof, Managing Director of Baoli EMEA: “In the future, anyone thinking about robust solutions for daily material handling with reliable and easy-to-use equipment at entry-level prices should think of Baoli first.”
Bischof's optimism stems from the fact that the entry-level segment is growing faster than the rest of the market. And Baoli's advantages are obvious, Bischof explains: "With our products, we combine European quality and technical expertise with Chinese dynamism and cost-efficient production facilities."
As reported, Baoli presented its new KBE 25-35 series vehicles, the complete new KBS family and the new KBO at LogiMAT.
