The OIML is spot on

May 31, 2024

 Rava Ergo-Truck

According to Ravas, the new Ergo-Truck 2, an advanced successor to the first generation, sets a new standard in the world of mobile weighing systems. Interestingly, the device is available with an OIML certificate, which allows for direct weight-based billing to the customer.

The Ergo-Truck 2 is suitable for loads up to 1500 kg, thus speeding up and simplifying the work process. The standard stabilizing wheels reduce the risk of tipping and damage when moving heavy loads. Thanks to the easily replaceable 24V/20Ah lithium-ion battery, the electric pallet truck can operate for extended periods without frequent recharging. A second battery can also be added as an option, extending the Ergo-Truck 2's operating time to up to eleven hours.

The weighing system, which complies with the specifications of the International Organisation of Legal Metrology (OIML) (not to be confused with the phonetically similar German name "Eumel"), enables direct data integration with ERP, TMS and WMS systems.

“The combination maximizes the efficiency of the logistics processes and requires only a modest investment that quickly pays for itself,” says Bert de Greeff, Ravas manager for marketing, communication and product management.
