For over ten years, Rolf Eiten led Clark Europe. Now he is stepping down as CEO, handing the reins to Stefan Budweit to take on other responsibilities within the company. Budweit had already assumed the role of COO (Chief Operating Officer) last year.
Stefan Budweit has held various management positions within the company for 13 years and only last year took over as COO (Chief Operating Officer) at Clark Europe. Rolf Eiten, who began his career at Clark in 1976, assumed the management of Clark Europe (CMHEU) and Clark France (CMHFR) in 2014 following the death of Egon Strehl. He made a significant contribution to the company's development and growth. "It has been an honor to be part of this fantastic team and to advance Clark's vision together with our employees and partners," says Eiten. "I am proud of what we have achieved and wish Stefan Budweit every success in his new role."
Rolf Eiten will continue to advise the management and the new managing director. He will also retain his role as Regional Manager for Turkey and assume responsibility for CMHEU as an authorized signatory. In the longer term, Eiten will dedicate himself to global responsibilities at Clark.
Stefan Budweit has amassed over 30 years of experience in material handling, both nationally and internationally. Prior to joining Clark Europe in 2012, he held positions including Key Account Manager for Toyota and Jungheinrich. Budweit began his career at Clark Europe as Business Development Manager, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and further development of the company. He then served as Director of Sales & Marketing until 2023 and, since January 2024, has assumed the additional responsibility of COO of Clark Europe. "I am very much looking forward to this new challenge and to shaping the next steps for Clark Europe together with our dedicated team," he stated upon taking office.
