SSI Schäfer once again invited logistics consultants and planners to its own "Intralogistics Day" at its technology center in Giebelstadt near Würzburg. The event featured live demonstrations of SSI Piece Picking and Case Picking, mobile robots with RackBots and AGVs, as well as the Flat Pack Picking System.
Around 35 participants from the DA-CH region and Belgium came together to discuss current challenges in the industry and to learn about solutions from SSI Schäfer's system portfolio.
It turned out that flexible and scalable solutions for gradual automation remain particularly in demand. Experts from SSI Schäfer, DS Automotion, Ro-Ber, and SWAN presented, among other things, order picking solutions with mobile robots, AGVs, gantry robots, and tugger trains, references from the fashion and frozen food logistics sectors, and software emulation for process optimization during the implementation phase.

SSI Schäfer plans to gradually establish the "Intralogistics Day" as part of a series of in-house trade fairs and customer events.
