The Swiss Intralogistics Association (ILS) held its annual general meeting in Langenthal in mid-May, with 82 members and guests in attendance, and reported a significant increase of 20 new members. Lea Lauffer was elected as the new vice president.
Lea Lauffer succeeds Urs Martin, who is retiring after many years of dedicated service as Vice President. Urs Martin, who has held this role since 2017 and is a long-standing member, has made significant contributions to the development of the association and the logistics industry in Switzerland. Damian Cueni of Stöcklin Logistik is a new addition to the board, having been elected as secretary. A minute of silence was observed in memory of Flavio Sanader, Managing Director of FS Media.

As a guest speaker, Thomas «Thömu» Binggeli described how he went from the first bicycle shop on his parents' farm to a successful entrepreneur.
Peter Spycher described 2024 as a new highlight in the association's work. For the first time, the association was allowed to conduct the well-known logistics study trip instead of GS1. Information was also provided about Movement'32 and SwissSkills 2025. The board decided to expand its support for SwissSkills and plans to present itself as a bronze and prize partner.
