Innovative technologies, live product demonstrations, and networking with experts and industry insiders were the focus of the customer event "SSI Insight"for which the intralogistics experts opened their doors in Giebelstadt on May 20 and 22. Around 150 international customers participated over the two days.
In exciting presentations, experts impressively demonstrated how small and medium-sized enterprises can implement automation and digitalization step by step – from scalable entry investments to fully automated warehouse logistics.
It became clear that enormous potential can often be unlocked step by step. At the technology center, visitors experienced live demonstrations of smart robotics applications, ergonomic storage lifts, efficient shuttle and overhead conveyor technology, and sustainable solutions for a wide range of industries and company sizes – all controlled by the scalable Wamas and SAP software. A particular highlight of the event was the exclusive live demonstration of the FastBots Solution.
“SSI Insight is far more than a traditional customer event for us – it’s a platform for an exchange on equal footing. We can discuss concrete logistics challenges with our international customers and present solutions live, enabling them to gain a competitive edge with innovative systems from the SSI Schäfer Group,” explains CEO Peter Edelmann. “The positive feedback has confirmed for us that personal encounters strengthen trust and form the basis for sustainable partnerships.”
