Intralogistics providers are already beginning preparations for LogiMAT (March 24-26) in Stuttgart as the new year begins. Leading the way is Kasto, a specialist in sawing, storage, and automation technology for metal long goods and sheet metal, with its app-based management of heavy materials in the warehouse .
Automatic unpacking: KASTOflow unpack.
The specialists from Achern will be bringing along their user-friendly app, "logic mobile." It digitizes manual warehouse operations and transforms mobile devices into smart assistants. This allows employees to know at any time which material is located where and in what quantity. This speeds up storage, retrieval, and order picking.
All orders visible
Employees are guided step-by-step through all processes: from storage and retrieval to quality control. Control queries prevent errors, open orders are always visible, and all bookings can be made directly via mobile devices.
Everything at a glance in the app
Particularly practical: The app functions as a stand-alone solution without automated warehouses or complex IT structures, but can be seamlessly integrated with ERP programs like SAP and Kasto's warehouse management system if needed. Sales and purchasing departments have access to current inventory levels at all times .
Long goods storage in the model
Visitors to the booth will also find a miniature warehouse for long goods. The compartments are labeled with barcodes. Those interested can try out for themselves how easily goods can be booked in and out of the system thanks to this smart solution : A quick scan shows which materials are available and in what quantity.

Kasto's material handling solutions connect directly and extract additional efficiency from the process chain. Winders, buffers, lifts, sheet metal turners, material pile chains, or automated guided vehicles (AGVs) integrate seamlessly and expand the system without requiring manual intervention.
