Krones, a billion-dollar company, is not only known for its beverage bottling plants, but has also bundled its know-how and associated expertise in a cross-industry company as a system integrator for fully automated intralogistics solutions such as high-bay warehouses, AGVs and order picking.

In 2014, the material flow division was spun off into Syskron GmbH, which launched as "System Logistics" in 2019. At a technology center in Wackersdorf, Bavaria, 125 employees generate approximately €60 million in annual revenue. The designs high-bay warehouses up to 43 meters high with 1,000 to 50,000 pallet positions in various configurations, ranging from tropical to deep-freeze temperatures. It also integrates compact warehouses with maximum storage density and medium throughput, order picking solutions, and AGV systems. Recently, the company exhibited at the Logistics & Automation trade fair in Bern.

The name "System Logistics" has thus become a guiding principle for some time, culminating, among other things, in an AS/RS system called "LogiMate." The latter offers a wide range of high-density, multi-level options for long-term storage, as well as inventory buffers for high-speed sequencing and fulfillment applications. The automated storage system is designed to ensure reliable operation in extreme environments, including refrigerated and deep-freeze warehouses.
Furthermore, «LogiMate» offers a solution to prevent inventory shrinkage (theft or loss of items), reduce damage, and improve the accuracy of order processing.

Control is achieved via software called "Systore" to ensure smooth, efficient and simple operation in limited spaces.
