French warehouse robotics specialist Scallog has entered into an agreement for close cooperation with intralogistics provider Stöcklin to strengthen its presence in Switzerland. Scallog has approximately 530 employees, €130 million in revenue, and twelve branches worldwide.
The global player offers turnkey complete systems in the field of warehouse logistics and automated warehouse management, from high-bay warehouses to cooling systems, including AGVs, WMS, WCS, etc.
The cooperation, it is said, is part of the French company's strategy to accelerate the marketing of its goods-to-person solutions. The French company is pleased to rely on the experience and intralogistics expertise of the logistics provider founded in Laufen in 1934.
“This partnership is part of our effort to strengthen our position in the Swiss market, where CBRE in 2025 to be worth more than 19.3 billion Swiss francs and require an additional 400,000 m2 of logistics space,” says Rémi Badaroux, International Business Manager of Scallog.
Several Swiss companies are already using the French goods-to-person solutions to automate their warehouse order picking, including Farmy, which is shaking up the Swiss online grocery market.
»“The agreement allows us,” said Badaroux, “to rely on a renowned player in high-performance intralogistics like the system integrator Stöcklin to accelerate the marketing of our robotic solutions and establish the automation of retail order picking in Swiss warehouses.”.»
Stöcklin Logistics also sees itself as a leader in the field of temperature-controlled high-bay warehouses, which are widespread in Switzerland. Domenico Palombo, Head of French-speaking markets at Stöcklin, explains: “The partnership with Scallog, with whom we share cultural affinity and common values, allows us to enrich our intralogistics offering with a robotic solution that is decidedly agile, offers a rapid ROI (Return on Investment), and addresses new, specific needs.” Scallog’s goods-to-person solution is the ideal technological alternative for any company looking to take its first steps toward automated order picking in an existing warehouse. “With this new partnership, we hope to capture new customer profiles in a very dynamic e-commerce market.”
