Positioning crane hooks via camera

October 31, 2023

 Fig.: HBC

Positioning the lifting device precisely on site, maneuvering transport vehicles accurately and safely, and placing the drill bit with pinpoint accuracy: HBC offers a camera assistance system called "radiomatic photon" that eliminates many uncertainties.

Obscured areas and blind spots become visible, allowing potential hazards to be avoided early on. Difficult maneuvers become easier, enabling the operator to work with precision. Monitoring tasks and machine control are significantly reduced because the operator has all the essential information in view via the camera images. Infrared cameras can be used for working in low-light conditions or darkness. The operator can switch to the standard data display on the screen as needed.

Radiomatic photon is compatible with numerous Orlaco cameras; cameras with different fields of view can be used, as well as infrared cameras. The cameras are mounted in any position on the machine or in the work environment and connected to the radio receiver. The system is optionally available with transmitters featuring 3.5" or 5" displays.
