Viastore's Intralogistics Software Day 2023, held at the Wagenhallen in Stuttgart, was aimed at operations, logistics, and IT managers from industrial, commercial, and service companies in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). The event was completely full with approximately 400 participants.
Due to the positive feedback in 2022, the event was once again held as a hybrid event. Participants could attend live on-site in Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg, or via online stream for presentations by experts and practitioners on new features of the WMS viadat, an exciting keynote address, and best-practice presentations.
The right software enables secure processes, shorter lead times, and minimized inventory and work-in-process: In an engaging keynote address on cybersecurity, Holger Kaschner from the German Cyber Security Organization (DCSO) spoke about "IT security in the manufacturing industry and logistics." Following this, Viastore presented new features of its WMS viadat and plant visualization software viadatVISION, and provided an outlook on current and upcoming projects. In the afternoon, distinguished best-practice speakers shared insights into the implementation of modern solutions, the replacement of legacy systems, and current trends.
During the breaks, companies such as Toyota Material Handling, Heidler Strichcode, MPDV, prismat and First Line Software presented their products and solutions in the exhibition area.
