Pallet storage space with a mouse click

Covering peak loads, testing new markets with their own goods, or storing goods in prime locations as a small business: A German start-up called "Warespace" has been making all this possible online since today. The start-up also organizes inbound and outbound transport.

Initially, companies seeking pallet storage space have access to the capacities of more than four dozen warehouse locations in Germany. This number is expected to increase rapidly within Germany, and further countries throughout Europe will soon be added via Warespace's international network. This allows companies to store even smaller quantities precisely tailored to their project needs, even if they are (currently) unwilling or unable to commit to a long-term contract logistics provider when entering new markets due to the inherently volatile success of such ventures.

“The go-live marks a new era for the straightforward booking of pallet spaces. Thanks to immediate access to the inventory of our logistics partners, Palletspace users can secure urgently needed capacity during peak periods or on a trial basis when expanding into a new sales territory,” emphasizes Jonas Tritschallek, founder and CEO of Warespace, highlighting the unique selling point of the innovative solution. “The option to also reserve truck transport to or from the warehouses – including immediate receipt of a valid transport price – completes the comprehensive logistics package for palletized goods.”

Palletspace customers always have a live overview of their total inventory, despite goods often being distributed across different locations, thanks to Palletspace. Especially for smaller shippers, the Palletspace booking platform eliminates the often complex need to create a separate IT interface to the warehouse management systems of logistics providers.

Warespace was spun off as an independent company in April 2024, after founders Sebastian Richter and Jonas Tritschallek, along with their team, developed their business model to market maturity under the umbrella of the company builder CDW. For long-term contract logistics agreements, over five million square meters of space are available across Europe, particularly for large industrial and commercial companies, for centrally organized but decentralized warehousing. Well-known medium-sized logistics companies, with their branches and vehicle fleets, form the asset base for this digitally orchestrated service.
