SAP specialist SWAN aims to set new standards in SAP logistics consulting. Therefore, they have appointed Matthias Martens as an additional managing director to offer solutions for lean and semi-automated logistics within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
With the experienced manager and SAP digitalization expert, the company gains a key leader for the strategic expansion of its SAP Digital Supply Chain (DSC) division, alongside its current sole CEO, Alexander Bernhard (pictured right). At the same time, SWAN underscores its commitment to providing customers with comprehensive support along the entire digital supply chain – from warehouse logistics and transportation to manufacturing.
Martens brings over 25 years of experience in the digitalization of supply chain processes across various industries. Most recently, as Senior Director of Supply Chain & Procurement at All for One Group SE, he was responsible for the SAP DSC portfolio and led a team of 75 employees. His expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Digital Supply Chain, it is said, strengthens SWAN's position in the rapidly growing SAP cloud environment. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Matthias Martens has been a lecturer in Supply Chain Management at the Georg Agricola University of Applied Sciences in Bochum since 2019.
