Sereact and Körber Supply Chain have launched a joint project at a German mechanical engineering company. Sereact's AI-based pick and place technology assists with individual part picking and is intended to be the start of a strategic partnership.

When a wide variety of items need to be picked reliably, quickly, and without extensive training, conventional automation systems often reach their limits. The Sereact pick and place solution addresses this need.
“Our solution enables companies to pick a wide variety of items flexibly and efficiently – all without time-consuming pre-training,” explains Ralf Gulde, CEO and co-founder of Sereact. The AI-powered control system analyzes visual and object-related data in real time and automatically adjusts the picking strategies. This allows even complex or unknown products to be handled precisely, which is a challenge for traditional systems.
Sereact technology offers fully automated order picking that can be easily integrated into warehouse and distribution solutions – Körber's range covers classic technologies such as shuttles or AS/RS, up to modern systems based on mobile robots.
