To keep pace with evolving regulations in the food sector, Heineken introduced the industrial identification solution ZetesAtlas in combination with automated labeling systems in France several years ago. This ensures real-time transparency and has clearly proven its worth.

ZetesAtlas, in combination with Zetes' automatic labeling systems, ensures flawless traceability from the packaging lines. From closures and bottles to finished products loaded onto pallets, every element is precisely recorded and the data is sent directly to the company's SAP information system.
Each element precisely recorded
Thanks to its rapid implementation, ZetesAtlas now plays a central role in the identification and traceability of products at all Heineken France sites. For more than 15 years, the partnership has evolved alongside the brewery's growth, strengthening the teams' expertise and optimizing existing systems, according to all involved. With over 40 systems now implemented, the precise, compliant inline identification contributes to optimal inventory management and efficient logistics execution.

MD4000 machines handle the precise labeling of sales units (packs and cases), while MD6000 machines mark pallets. Integration with the SAP ERP system provides teams with real-time transparency along the packaging line, all the way to shipping. Heineken France and Zetes have a long-standing partnership that extends beyond technology rollout to include operational support and ongoing improvements. This trusted collaboration means the beverage manufacturer can rely on dependable, flexibly scalable solutions that meet the increasing demands for traceability, compliance, and industrial performance.
An important lever
“Our partnership with Zetes encompasses far more than just the procurement of solutions. Thanks to their innovative products and comprehensive support, including preventive and corrective maintenance, we also benefit from high operational availability. (…) This long-standing partnership is a key lever for optimizing our processes”explains Mickaël Knoll, Maintenance Manager at Heineken France.
