The Annual General Meeting of Swiss Post has appointed German Antonia Wanner (56) to the Board of Directors. The lawyer, who holds a doctorate in law and is Head of ESG Strategy at Nestlé, has lived in Saint-Légier since 2006. Nadja Lang did not stand for re-election after nine years on the Board of Directors. 

At the Annual General Meeting, the Confederation, as Swiss Post's sole shareholder, approved all proposals submitted by the Board of Directors and granted full discharge to the members of the Board of Directors for the 2022 financial year. The dividend that Swiss Post will pay to the Confederation for 2022 from available profit remains at CHF 50 million, as in the previous year. Furthermore, the Confederation noted that Swiss Post complied with the caps for the fees of the Board of Directors and the salaries of the Executive Board in 2022. Furthermore, the Confederation approved the caps for these salaries for the 2024 financial year.

Antonia Wanner studied law at the universities of Tübingen, Lausanne, and Bonn, and passed the bar exam in Munich. In 1996, she began her professional career as a legal counsel at Nestlé Germany. There, she subsequently held management positions in purchasing and sales and established Nestlé Germany's first sustainability program.

From 2006, Wanner held various management positions at Nestlé's headquarters in Vevey, where, among other things, she created the first Supplier Code of Conduct. From 2017 to 2020, she was Chief Procurement Officer, responsible for global purchasing. Since 2020, Antonia Wanner has been responsible for the company-wide development and implementation of the strategy for ecologically, socially, and corporately sustainable action (ESG strategy) at Nestlé. Christian Levrat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Post, said: "Customers expect environmentally friendly logistics from Swiss Post. With her many years of management experience at a global corporation and her expertise in the field of sustainability, Antonia Wanner will be a valuable addition to Swiss Post's Board of Directors." Wanner is married and has two adult sons.
