Swisslog Switzerland has appointed Stefan Raphael Mahler (44) as its new Managing Director and Head of Sales. He will take over the business in Switzerland in May 2024, succeeding Heinrich Lüthi, who is now focusing on his international role in the EMEA service department.
Peter Steinegger, previously responsible for sales, will remain with Swisslog and the sales team until his retirement. Mahler brings extensive experience and a proven track record in sales for technology companies. Before joining Swisslog, he held various management positions in logistics and medical technology. With his expertise in strategic business development, he is expected to further strengthen Swisslog's position as a market leader in automated logistics solutions. "At a time when the demand for automated solutions and smart technologies is growing rapidly, I see great potential in further expanding Swisslog's market position together with our team," says Mahler. "As a global company with 3,000 employees worldwide, our more than 300 employees here at the Swiss location offer everything from concept development and project management to software and service offerings after commissioning – all from a single source to improve competitiveness and secure Switzerland as a manufacturing location."
