Kardex Mlog's new sales manager for Switzerland is René Hoozemans. The trained mechanical engineer and Swiss native (56) will be responsible for strengthening the presence of the supplier of integrated material flow systems and high-bay warehouses in this newly created position.
Hoozemans most recently worked as regional director for the Swiss subsidiary of a US-based manufacturer of elevators and escalators. Prior to that, he gained over 16 years of sales experience in the intralogistics industry.
Hoozemans sees great growth potential for Kardex Mlog in Switzerland. "Prices per square meter will continue to rise in Switzerland, which will reinforce the trend towards high-bay warehouses. The required storage capacities must therefore be realized in the smallest possible area, which is not only more economical but also significantly more sustainable," he notes.
The passionate golfer sees further sales and expansion opportunities in modernizing existing, aging warehouses. For Kardex Mlog, a recognized specialist in modernizing complex automated warehouses during ongoing operations, it makes no difference whether the original systems were built by Kardex Mlog or another supplier.
