Pen-Beam
Some people are just a bit dense. But with its Pen-Beam locking bar system and Twist-Beam for vans and small delivery vehicles, the safety systems manufacturer Wistra Cargo Control offers asolution. The CEP (courier, express, and parcel) industry and fleet operators appreciate it.
The Twist-Beam locking bar, developed by Wistra, is also available in an 1100 mm long version for vans and small delivery vehicles. Thanks to a special spring mechanism, it can be anchored in airline track systems with a simple twist. The quick and easy locking mechanism in the lashing points particularly facilitates the vertical use of the locking bar. Operators can secure it in the floor lashing points without having to bend down or kneel.
With tall superstructures, there's no need to overstretch the body because the locking bar can be operated comfortably with an ergonomic posture. Thanks to its sleek design without any bulky components, the Twist-Beam also offers optimal form fit. These advantages are currently being tested by numerous vehicle outfitters and truck body manufacturers.
The Twist-Beam is primarily made of high-strength aluminum, ensuring effortless operation. The same applies to the stepless and precise adjustment of the locking bar to the desired length: this prevents the Twist-Beam from exerting pressure on the outer walls during installation. This avoids denting of the vehicle walls or other damage.
Twist-Beam
The Pen-Beam locking bar, which has proven its worth for several years, is now available in a particularly lightweight version with a 35 mm diameter support tube. When retracted and locked, the Pen-Beam is shorter than the vehicle's interior dimensions, allowing for ergonomic installation. It is unlocked by a brief press on the telescopic tube. The telescopic tube then retracts smoothly and with consistent pressure into the lashing rails, minimizing the risk of damage to the vehicle body.
In addition to locking and loading beams, Wistra offers a complete range of load securing equipment. This includes lashing straps in a wide variety of types and designs up to a lashing capacity (LC) of 10,000 daN, load securing nets for use in station wagons up to heavy trucks, lashing rails, locking and clamping beams, as well as loading and articulated loading beams.
Furthermore, Wistra "Powerbrace" still manufactures safety rotary bar locks for containers, box and box bodies and swap bodies
