Beumer is equipping itself with a maintenance-friendly machine design in which all components can be accessed at ground level, the «stretch hood A», advanced data diagnostics and films with a high recycled content for this year's Fachpack, which takes place from September 24th to 26th in Nuremberg.
Sustainability and efficiency are increasingly becoming the focus of packaging solutions. The European Packaging Directive and the German Packaging Act (VerpackG) aim to intensify recycling and minimize waste. These regulations require an increased use of recycled materials in packaging films. One of the highlights in Nuremberg is therefore the "stretch hood A" packaging machine. It is designed to process films with a high recycled content of 30 percent and more safely and reliably.
Accessible at ground level
The use of thinner, yet more efficient films reduces film consumption and thus also lowers packaging costs. The option of configuring the stretch hood A as a 2-film-format machine allows for the processing of different pallet formats without changing the film roll. It calculates the optimal film requirement for each pallet, ensuring optimal material utilization, which in turn contributes to reducing packaging material consumption and thus lowering the CO2 footprint.
