through roof openings into a high-bay warehouse at Tchibo's Bremen logistics center in the Neustadt
port area, using an 800-ton crane. A total of 22 stacker cranes are planned, with ten more to follow later this year.

The first old stacker crane, including its conductor rails and guide rails, was replaced in May with a new Kardex MSingle B-1200/41-ZT model. Replacing the 22-year-old, the Bremen logistics center efficiently future-proofs

As part of the project, Kardex Mlog is implementing an additional operating option at the rear aisle entrance. Furthermore, fire suppression systems are being integrated into the 22 control cabinets of the automated guided vehicles (AGVs) as well as into one stationary control cabinet. Kardex Mlog's scope of supply includes not only the hardware but also the interface to the existing material flow computer and a service package with preventative maintenance, a hotline, and individually tailored spare parts inventory.
