Interoperability proven

October 1, 2025

At an Automation Day hosted by Agilox, attendees gained insights into the current state and future direction of the robotics provider, complemented by workflows that – modeled on real-world processes – demonstrated interoperability with the AMRs together with a Fanuc robot arm and a Palomat.

Under the motto "Past-Proven. Future-Driven. Material Handling in Motion," the Automation Day at Agilox's headquarters in Neukirchen near Lambach, Upper Austria, significantly exceeded expectations. Numerous experts from production and logistics, many of them from abroad, accepted the invitation.

The keynote address by André Käber, the best practice story by Dominik Meier (Dehn SE), insights into the new financing model Movement-as-a-Service (MaaS) and the product presentation of the driverless transport system OFL kept the audience captivated throughout and provided insights into current and future developments.

Unlocking potential

Guests were able to experience firsthand how Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) function in practice, what potential they offer, and how efficiently robotics solutions can be used in everyday life. For example, in collaboration with the Palomat, which has been manufactured in Denmark since 1992, it automates pallet handling and optimizes workflows by stacking and unstacking pallets.

Guided tours through the offices and production halls demonstrated the potential of physical AI for future applications as part of an "AI Experience" A representative from NVIDIA explained possible collaborations within the framework of the "Inception"program.
