After 26 years and various career positions at the Liechtenstein tool manufacturer Hilti, Joachim Willems is moving to warehouse management at TST and will also become head of the Hamburg-based software subsidiary Logisticus, which specializes in software development in logistics.
Willems most recently served as Managing Director of Hilti Deutschland Logistik for over eleven years. The 55-year-old business economist and software developer has now assumed responsibility for the warehousing division at TST in Worms.
According to founder and owner Frank Schmidt, with this move, TST is expanding the management team of his company, which includes himself, his wife Melanie, and – since 2020 – Marcel Bicking. "We are distributing the responsibilities and decision-making authority within our company across several shoulders," says Schmidt, who wants to create structures for TST's dynamic growth.
