Automation and systems engineering will be combined at LogiMAT for visitors with high foot traffic in the fully booked exhibition halls. The largest segment among the exhibitors are international plant manufacturers and system integrators. Also present are Rocket Solutions and 3D Shuttles.
Demand for specialized automation solutions for intralogistics continues to rise. "The new developments from the predominantly medium-sized machine and plant manufacturers demonstrate the considerable potential that can still be unlocked in intralogistics with regard to efficiency and digital transformation," says trade fair director Michael Ruchty.

In Halls 1 – including the gallery – 3, 5, and 7, the focus is on automation processes. The spectrum ranges from automated small parts and compact storage systems, along with their components in racking and stacker crane technology, to new solutions for internal transport and automated order picking, as well as offerings of steel platforms, conveyor technology, lifting technology, and drives. For complex systems, artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being integrated into the control technology.
Key players include AutoStore AS (Hall 1, Booth J61) with innovations to its proven automated storage and order picking system, as well as Gilgen Logistics (Hall 1, Booth F05 ) and Westfalia (Hall 1, Booth C20). Gilgen is presenting its latestwhile product development – the "Performance" stacker crane (as previously reported), Westfaliathe latest version of a satellite storage system with a patented load handling device.

New shuttles for applications with automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and in storage cubes will be showcased by companies including Rocketsolution (Hall 1, Booth A35) and Megvii Automation & Robotics (Hall 1OG, Booth OG82). Megvii will present the latest generation of a 3D pallet shuttle system. In addition to its striking design, the dynamic system, with its redundancy achieved through a distributed control architecture, is said to offer exceptional reliability. A key component of the system is the 3D shuttle, which, according to the manufacturer, can move freely in all directions within the racking. Rocketsolution will present the RSX1 shuttle system, an automated and robust small parts storage system for loads up to 50 kg. Compared to conventional shuttle systems, the manufacturer claims the RSX1 reduces the required space by more than half.

Stationary industrial robots are used in exhibits from numerous manufacturers. For example, Knapp (Hall 3, Booth B03) is showcasing a "Zero Touch Fulfillment" system. Alongside the Indu-Store compact storage system for small and very small parts, they are presenting the latest versions of the fully automated Pick-it-Easy picking robot and the autonomous Open Shuttle mobile robot for internal transport. For the internal transport of small load carriers, Dambach Lagersysteme (Hall 1, Booth F41) is presenting a revised version of the Monoflex electric floor conveyor. With a throughput of up to 450 vehicles per hour and special transfer points, containers can be sorted precisely.
SSI Schäfer (Hall 1, Booth D21) is demonstrating its further developed piece-picking application for fully automated single-item picking, featuring patented gripping point calculation, additional functions such as pick & place, AI-supported object recognition, and 100% product verification. The Dutch system integrator Inther Group will be presenting a robotic picking solution aptly named Gripp (Gantry Robotic Intelligent Piece Picker) in a live demonstration for the first time (Hall 5, Stand B57).

Using AI vision technology and a light sensor, the system automatically measures a product's weight, length, width, and height, and is designed to achieve up to 1,200 picks per hour. Element Logic will present its "eOperator" robot picking solution in a live demonstration, in conjunction with conveyor technology and an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) from Addverb Technologies (Hall 3; Booth A39). Nomagic will showcase a new solution featuring a picking robot from its justPick product line. The robot arm, designed for fully automated applications, is equipped with a scanner, image capture, and AI technology, enabling throughput of up to 400 picks per hour.
Many suppliers of lifting, stationary, and mobile conveyor technology will be exhibiting in Stuttgart, showcasing new peripheral devices and conveyor components. On display are new crate lifting devices and sorting systems, low-energy motors, motor rollers and gearboxes for roller conveyors in horizontal conveying technology (ABM Greiffenberger, Hall 3, Booth B15), as well as sorter drives, gearless drives for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and AMR differential drives with integrated drive electronics. Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik (Hall 3, Booth C17) is presenting a modular system of individually configurable and flexibly combinable crossovers and walkways, while Bizerba (Hall 5, Booth F28) is showcasing a static dimensioning and weighing system from its MetriXFreight product family.
