The Logistics Competence Centre (LKZ) in Prien am Chiemsee is not only located on the approach route to the infamous Brenner Base Tunnel, but will also be addressing climate-relevant freight transport, supply chains, decarbonization and transport issues in a forum on May 7th and 8th.

Around 200 participants from Germany and abroad have announced their attendance this week at Lake Chiemsee for a joint exchange of knowledge and experience.

How leaders can successfully establish sustainability, digitalization, automation, technology, innovation, collaboration, mobility, culture, and mindsets as key success factors for holistic supply chains and their associated logistics within ecosystems and networks will be demonstrated at the 13th annual symposium. "Security of supply and supply chain resilience, geostrategic tensions, sustainability requirements, and addressing the skills shortage are currently the focus of decision-makers. With our 'Innovative Logistics' symposium, we want to offer a platform for personal exchange in these challenging times," explains Petra Seebauer, Managing Director of LKZ and organizer of the event. "We have invited top-tier logistics, transport, and mobility experts to Prien and, in keeping with the networking principles of our innovation center, we want to provide participants with a stage for open, constructive exchange and dialogue."

The entire program will be moderated by Volker Hillebrand, partner at Implement Consulting Group: "Sustainability is a constant topic on the desk of every logistics and supply chain manager, both today and tomorrow. To further modernize our lives, especially compared to other nations, we need efficient mobility for both people and goods."
