High-tech and products processed from natural ingredients are not mutually exclusive. "Organic" does n't mean everything is done manually, but rather that it adheres to high ecological standards. This is also true for the organic wholesaler Weiling, where an AutoStore system has recently enabled peak logistical performance.

The hit list of IFOY nominees: Inductive charging is nothing new. Various systems have previously offered to drive the device to a charging station, where charging then takes place wirelessly. The startup Magment allows charging while driving over "magnetic concrete."
Currently, electric vehicles require at least two to three hours of charging time over the course of 24 hours. Electrifying industrial floors with dynamic wireless charging reduces or eliminates these charging breaks. Electric fleets in intralogistics and battery capacities can be reduced, which would significantly reduce capital expenditures (CAPEX) for long-term assets such as these vehicles.
The patented magnetizable concrete, combined with proprietary winding and casting technologies, enables the production of robust inductive charging pads that allow for the integration of wireless infrastructure into the ground. Each of these one-meter-long charging pads contains 42 meters of copper cable. When assessing the test setup, Magment explains that the system can essentially charge all vehicle battery voltages – up to a maximum of 170 amps. According to the measurement display, the efficiency is over 90 percent. In the test setup, two pads are installed under chipboard, over which a pantograph moves, simulating the AGV.

The highlight: At no point on the two MagPads, which form the dynamic wireless charging track MagTrack including the electronics as well as a coil and the corresponding electronics on the receiver side, does the oscilloscope's charging curve show a drop in charging power.
To realize this compelling concept, Magment is working closely with manufacturers of autonomous forklifts and pallet trucks, industrial flooring manufacturers, and warehouse owners. The goal is to implement a dynamic, wireless charging infrastructure to charge vehicles during operation. The goal: to increase warehouse productivity to nearly 100 percent by extending warehouse equipment's operating hours.
However, in order to make charging while driving profitable, longer distances in the warehouse and, due to the integration into the hall floor, careful profitability calculations are required.
The coveted trophies will be awarded on Thursday, 30 June, at the BMW World in Munich
Until then, the result remains a secret – both for the finalists and for the public.
