Dachser, Bluhm, Linde Material Handling, and Fraunhofer IML will be participating in the GGS hazardous goods and materials logistics trade fair, which takes place in Leipzig from November 8 to 10. Around 50 exhibitors will present their solutions for prevention in high-risk environments.

GGS's offerings appeal to logistics professionals from various disciplines, as well as hazardous goods and other safety officers. A comprehensive specialist program rounds out the event. "The third edition of Europe's only trade fair for a holistic approach to hazardous materials and dangerous goods logistics offers the opportunity to experience innovations and trends firsthand, as well as to engage in personal discussions with business partners and industry colleagues," says Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.

Visitors can learn about transport and logistics services at booths from Dachser and Finsterwalder, among others. Fluxx and packaging provider Prodinger will be presenting their packaging products. Linde Material Handling will be represented with various warehousing, conveyor, and handling technology products, as well as the explosion-proof E30 L EX forklift truck.

For the first time within the framework of the GGS, the Denios Hazardous Substances Day will be held on November 9th. Among other things, the framework conditions for the collection of lithium-ion batteries in containers and the handover to disposal companies, the new regulations for the storage of hazardous substances and also best practices in the storage of hazardous substances will be discussed.
