Another entry-level model – for light-duty applications in small and medium-sized warehouses. With the electric KBS 12, forklift manufacturer Baoli, part of the Kion Group, is launching a new series of high-lift trucks for fast, all-purpose applications in almost any warehouse, especially where space is limited.
The new trucks can maneuver loads of up to 1.2 t at lift heights of up to 3600 mm. The forks are available with a total width of 570 mm or 685 mm for various load units. The four-wheel chassis provides stability. This makes the KBS 12 family particularly suitable for goods transport in warehouses, for pallet stacking, and for order picking at low levels. Thanks to their particularly compact dimensions, the trucks can be used even in very tight work areas and confined spaces.
The KBSI 12
The forklifts feature an ergonomically designed tiller that allows all driving and lifting functions to be controlled with both hands. Furthermore, the extended tiller keeps the operator at a safe distance from the vehicle. The multifunction display on the tiller provides a convenient overview of the vehicle's status. It shows operating hours, battery charge level, and service information. Integrated PIN code access protects the vehicle from unauthorized use, preventing keys from getting lost.
Three different models
The vehicles in the series are offered as KBS 12, KBSI 12, and KBSM 12. For increased ground clearance and optimized handling on slightly uneven terrain, the KBSI 12 features an initial lift function that raises the forks via a control function. This allows the forklift to also pick up a second pallet.

The KBSM 12, on the other hand, features a mono-lift mast, which provides an even better view of the forks and load compared to the conventional mast of the KBS 12. Transporting goods or stacking pallets is noticeably easier thanks to the optimized visibility. The KBSM 12 is also suitable for low-level order picking, as the mast profiles do not interfere with order picking.
The KBS 12 is also Baoli's first high-lift truck to be equipped with a maintenance-free lithium-ion battery as standard. This, along with the truck's built-in charger, allows for intermediate charging at any 230-volt outlet.
