More than 400 employees will find space in the newly designed work environment. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by numerous prominent figures, including TGW Logistics CEO Henry Puhl, the Governor of Upper Austria, Thomas Stelzer, and Paul Mahr, Mayor of the town of Marchtrenk.

The five-story office building at the headquarters in Marchtrenk will be connected to the existing building via a so-called "cube" This cube will include meeting areas, workshop rooms , and spaces for collaboration in interdisciplinary teams. It will thus serve as an "incubator" for collaboration, creativity, and innovation. With 14,000 m² of modern workspace, it offers a flexible spatial concept for future employees.
Dynamic development
“TGW Logistics has grown so dynamically in recent years that we had to rent satellite offices for collaboration or interdisciplinary networking within the ideal”explains Henry Puhl. “With the expansion of our headquarters, we can consolidate these external spaces again. This is a key prerequisite for achieving our growth target doubling our revenue to two billion euros by 2030.”,

Intralogistics is a growth industry with enormous potential. Puhl: "This is also clearly demonstrated by our record order intake of €1.5 billion from the past fiscal year. The investment in our headquarters forms the basis for remaining the number one project delivery company for our customers in the future."
Activity-Based Working
The new offices will be designed according to the "activity-based working"approach: there are no fixed workstations; instead, employees choose their workspace based on the activity at hand. Depending on the task or project, teams can thus collaborate with a high degree of flexibility, supported by modern communication and collaboration tools. TGW Logistics is relying on regional partners for planning, construction, and furnishing – and on value creation in Austria.

Connections to the public transport network are among other things, by a free shuttle service for employees to Marchtrenk train station ensured, "This investment sends a strong signal about Upper Austria's attractiveness as a place to work, do business, and innovate. We offer companies an environment in which they can grow and develop – with qualified employees, modern infrastructure, and a clear focus on innovation and performance. (...) My special thanks go to the company for its clear commitment to Upper Austria as a business location"said Thomas Stelzer, Governor of Upper Austria.
