Christian Bishop
is taking over from Francesco Pampuri as head of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region at the Baoli brand, part of the Kion Group, sees "solid growth opportunities ." Pampuri had on an interim basis since January .
" Our opportunities to further tap into the potential in the region are excellent – especially for the entry-level forklift market," says Christian Bischof. There are many users looking for entry-level forklifts without a wide range of technical options. "Baoli develops and builds industrial trucks that meet precisely these requirements." To achieve this, the company leverages its cost-effective production base in China and combines this with European development expertise.
Christian Bischof, 42, graduated in business administration in Germany and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the United States. Since 2009, he has worked for various Kion Group companies on different continents. Bischof's roles have included Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Linde Hydraulics, Director of Strategy, Business Development and Dealer Network at Kion in North America , and most recently Senior Director of Market Intelligence and Corporate Strategy at Kion headquarters in Frankfurt am Main.

The central product and spare parts warehouse in Milan, Italy, covers an area of approximately 14,000 square meters, with more than 300 forklifts ready for delivery and its own spare parts area of 11,000 square meters.
