At Jungheinrich itself, order intake, sales revenue, and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased year-on-year despite strained supply chains and bottlenecks in material supplies. The war against Ukraine, which Russia launched at the end of February, is leading to significant uncertainty for the European and global economy and thus also for Jungheinrich's business development. Against this backdrop, the forecast for 2022, adjusted to the circumstances, remains unchanged. In the first quarter, order intake increased slightly to €1.33 billion, and sales revenue rose by 10.7 percent to €1.06 billion.
