MAGA in the approach path
April 15, 2026
German technology remains highly regarded when it comes to rapid material handling, the elimination of weaknesses, and service quality. Following successful projects in Oklahoma and Texas, the steel trader " Steel and Pipe Supply " once again relied on saws and storage systems from the Rhine Valley in Kansas City.

Rent warehouse equipment instead of buying it
April 15, 2026
Bito is launching an offensive with an economical alternative for companies that want to re-equip, expand, or temporarily supplement their warehouse and production areas, but don't want to tie up their capital long-term: renting instead of buying is the motto. The advantages – especially in " dynamic times " – are obvious.

New chain belt sorting
April 9, 2026
At LogiMAT, conveyor technology provider Interroll attracted attention with a new chain-belt sorting system developed after the acquisition of Sortteq. Together with MCP Play, this creates a material flow ecosystem that combines single-item transport with intelligent sorting.

In recent years, companies have invested heavily in automating their intralogistics. However, many systems continue to operate as isolated solutions; data remains fragmented, and the full potential of modern automation often goes untapped. Today's dynamic requirements demand solutions that can reduce complexity while optimizing performance in real time .
Gap closed
With chain-belt sorting, Interroll expands its sorting capacity by closing a throughput gap in its portfolio of between 3500 and 8000 items per hour, while simultaneously significantly expanding the application range of MCP Play.

At LogiMAT, Interroll demonstrated how this gap can be closed by combining system, winner of the IFOY Award 2025, with the new Sortteq-based chain belt sorting " function , enables items to be transported on the conveyor belt at shorter intervals.
«Adjust to gap»
The Interroll Chain Belt Sorter, based on Sortteq technology which uses bidirectionally rotating chain belts as a transport and sorting unit, complements this capability with a sorting capacity of up to 8000 items per hour.

The result of this combination is simplified interfaces, reduced planning effort, and an overall reduction in system complexity. " Customers want performance without complexity, and system integrators also need solutions that simplify design, integration, and operation " says Markus Asch, CEO of Interroll.
Integrated system
“ By expanding our sorting expertise with products based on Sortteq technologies and extending MCP Play with additional system functions, we are combining two strategic initiatives into an integrated modular ecosystem that supports our markets worldwide. ”

An interesting path from component excellence to system management.
