Automation provider Dematic is highlighting the central importance of its software at this year's LogiMAT trade fair and inviting visitors on discovery tours through the warehouse. Live demonstrations range from product training and technician workshops to troubleshooting using drones.
“The industry often emphasizes that resilient and flexible processes are crucial for sustainable supply chains. We are convinced that Dematic is able to combine the best solutions in the industry,” explains Rene Sickler, Managing Director of Dematic DA-CH.
Whether through close collaboration with other brands of the Kion Group, strategic partnerships with companies such as AutoStore or the recently announced cooperation between Kion and NVIDIA – visitors have the opportunity to experience the benefits of seamless integration of automation, software, industrial trucks and other advanced technologies live at the 284 square meter Dematic stand.

A particular highlight is, for example, the innovative, autonomous shuttle for high-density pallet storage solutions, which resulted from the partnership with EuroFork. In the interactive drone simulation, participants can use flight simulators to identify the ten most critical maintenance problems in a warehouse. "Our in-house developed drone solution, which we first presented at LogiMAT a few years ago, continues to establish itself as a leading maintenance solution," emphasizes Sickler.
Visitors can experience the central function of Dematic software as the "brain" of plant control firsthand in several showcase scenarios. One example is the Dematic Bin-to-Picker solution, where autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) work seamlessly together, while a newly integrated robotic arm handles order picking. Another highlight on display is the Dematic Condition Monitoring System, which monitors the condition of machines and systems in real time. Here, too, the intelligent software is the driving force behind precise analyses and predictive maintenance planning.

In addition to the solution demonstrations, visitors can also look forward to the Dematic Innovation Stage. There, experts will provide exciting insights into the future of logistics, the role of AI in warehouse processes, and innovative approaches to sustainable solutions. Throughout the booth, guests can see how Dematic's business objective of sustainability is integrated into the development of its solutions. A carbon footprint calculator calculates and visualizes the booth's CO2 footprint. Furthermore, interested parties can analyze their own CO2 footprint via a touchscreen and receive valuable tips on how to reduce it.
