Carlo Gebhardt will be responsible for the digital transformation of existing business models, and especially for the core area of ​​cybersecurity, at the Eraneos Group. The long-time cybersecurity thought leader joins the company as a partner. 

According to the press release, Gebhardt will assume a dual leadership role: He will be responsible for the strategic cybersecurity initiative of the Eraneos Group and will simultaneously head the Secure Digital Transformation division at Eraneos Switzerland. 

Gebhardt is expected to complement Eraneos' existing portfolio of expertise in cybersecurity and data protection with services that enable faster and more secure digital transformation. At the same time, he is tasked with fostering synergies within the international Eraneos network.

“This will further solidify our role as a leading international player in this field,” said Eraneos CEO Oliver Vaterlaus.

Gebhardt has over 25 years of experience in the field of secure IT fundamentals, processes, and practical applications. He gained this experience during his studies in computer engineering and his doctoral research, where he pioneered the field of trusted cloud security.

Eraneos emerged from the merger of Ginkgo Management Consulting, Quint Group, and the AWK Group, announced in 2021. The group serves clients on three continents, where approximately 1,000 dedicated and highly qualified professionals work together to unlock the potential of digitalization. Services range from the development of digital business models and data analytics to cybersecurity and IT consulting for managing complex transformation projects. According to the group, it generated revenue of over €220 million in 2022.
