The current Vice President of UPS Healthcare for Europe and Asia is set to join Hupac on July 1st. In the company's nearly 60-year history, the 42-year-old will be the first woman to head the company as CEO, succeeding Michail Stahlhut.

With her appointment, the group gains an internationally experienced leader with proven expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and organizational development. The top manager has already lived and worked successfully in all of the Hupac Group's main markets.

With the appointment of Britta Weber, the Board of Directors is setting the course for the next phase of the group's development. The focus, it is stated, will be on the strategic development of combined transport, the expansion of sustainable transport solutions, and strengthening Hupac's market position as a leading provider of intermodal land transport in Europe.

She has over twenty years of international experience in the logistics industry: she combines a clear strategic vision with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of our customers’ needs,” says Hans-Jörg Bertschi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hupac. 

During the transition phase, operational management will be ensured by the two deputies of the CEO, Benedetta Masciari and Alessandro Valenti, as well as by Bernhard Kunz, Delegate of the Board of Directors.
