410 hp with biogas
November 29, 2022
Two new Scania CNG trucks have now gone into operation Lienhart in They are powered by a powerful six-cylinder in-line engine that runs on pure biogas , thus reducing CO2 emissions by almost 100% compared to previously used vehicles .
Not only is CO2 emissions almost completely eliminated, other road users, as well as residents in densely populated areas, appreciate the significantly reduced noise pollution resulting from the gas-powered engine .
Transport provider Lienhart is a family business, under the management of Felix Lienhart. Over the past decades, they have developed and continuously expanded a broad and customer-oriented range of services. their extensive service portfolio. It's a perfect fit.
Because every restaurant or commercial establishment generates various types of recyclable waste. This includes general household waste, paper, glass, tin cans, and scrap metal; but also food and preparation waste are valuable materials that can be reused through proper sorting and processing. in the areas of crane and grab work include special transport, container cleaning, and our own recycling center.
To meet the ever-increasing demands for sustainable transport solutions for businesses and municipalities, Felix Lienhart decided two years ago to replace two of his four refuse collection vehicles and simultaneously make an active contribution to a sustainable transport solution. At that time, two identical Scania G410 B 6x2*4 NB chassis with environmentally friendly biogas engines were ordered. This was because, back then, electric technology for heavy commercial vehicles was not yet advanced enough and the necessary drive concepts were not yet available.
Based on a fully air-sprung 6x2*4 chassis, a CG17N cab was chosen, offering the driver an excellent compromise between a low entry height for frequent entry and exit, and good visibility in both urban and regional traffic. Thanks to its steerable and liftable trailing axle, the vehicle is also very maneuverable, which is a significant advantage, especially when navigating narrow driveways or commercial entrances.
Modern gas engines are absolutely on par with diesel engines in terms of torque and pulling power , as the impressive torque of 2000 Nm proves anew every day to Lienhart's satisfaction
