Doppelmayr, in partnership with Garaventa, completed 32 cable car projects in the Alps in 2023, nine of which were in Switzerland, and 26 of these special transport technologies in North America. One of the most striking is the new Zermatt–Furi aerial tramway, which offers a view of the Matterhorn as if through a time portal.

Sensitive shipping materials should not be handled like bulk goods. Ferag has further developed its "Denisort" tilting tray sorter. Recent improvements now allow it to handle weights of up to 30 kg and, thanks to the tray design with plastic flaps, operate more quietly.

 At Flexen

Flexen refers to working with an angle grinder. It's also a mountain in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg – and on the Flexen Pass, the Rhine-Danube watershed, Doppelmayr's first ski lift went into operation in Zürs am Arlberg in 1937. The 130th anniversary of the cable ski lift was recently celebrated in a festival tent in Wolfurt.
