Sensitive shipping materials should not be handled like bulk goods. Ferag has further developed its "Denisort" tilting tray sorter. Recent improvements now allow it to handle weights of up to 30 kg and, thanks to the tray design with plastic flaps, operate more quietly.

Intralogistics specialist Ferag has published a "White Paper" on innovative solutions in the textile industry, entitled "In Pursuit of Sustainable Margins" (German: Auf der Suche nach nach nachhaltigen Margins), which aims to address new challenges in the fast-paced fashion industry.
Dust-free access to the cargo area
The global demand for copper is rising along with the demand for lithium-ion batteries. A mine in Quellaveco, Peru, is expected to produce 1.1 million tons of copper in the future. A ship loading system from FAM, a member of the Beumer Group, uses an extraction system to prevent dust from escaping during loading at the port.

By introducing a driverless transport system with multiple vehicles(AGVs) from Safelog, the full-service logistics provider Roman Mayer increased productivity at its fulfillment site in Nuremberg by 30%.
130 years of pioneering spirit
At Flexen
Flexen refers to working with an angle grinder. It's also a mountain in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg – and on the Flexen Pass, the Rhine-Danube watershed, Doppelmayr's first ski lift went into operation in Zürs am Arlberg in 1937. The 130th anniversary of the cable ski lift was recently celebrated in a festival tent in Wolfurt.
